Notary Public services – studying abroad

With A-level results having been released just a short while back, increasingly many students choose to carry on their further education and University undergraduate studies abroad.
A Notary Public may be needed to assist in the application process for overseas study.
The overseas University is likely to ask you to produce copies of GCSE and A-level course certificates verified/ certified by a Notary Public as well as other types of notarised documents.

A Notary Public is often required to notarise degree certificates and other qualifications. Here at our offices at Slough Notary Public, the Notary Public takes extra steps to check the veracity of the document by checking the same with the educational institution that issued it. It is important to use a Notary Public for these purposes to prevent fraud and make sure the proper checks are made.

NOTARY – NIE Spain

A NIE Number is a tax identification number used in Spain. Prior to purchasing a property, selling a property, obtaining a mortgage, starting up a business or working in Spain, it is a requirement by law that every individual possesses an NIE Number. The NIE Number is issued by the Spanish National Police and is printed out on a piece of paper; this is then also often used as a form of identity. A NIE card the size of a credit card is also given to you. Once you have been issued an NIE number, it is yours for life. If you are in the UK and cannot visit Spain to obtain your NIE number in person, it is likely that you may need the help of a UK Notary to obtain one.
